How it all began...

Back in 2004 I adopted my first pair of female gerbils from a very clueless friend of a friend. One of the lovely ladies ended up having a litter of pups unexpectedly; even though they were both female they had been housed with males and ended up being in the family way when I brought them home.I found the AGS around that time and became a member, they guided me through those first scary days and nights of being a sudden rodent grandmother.

Eventually I began breeding and showing with the AGS as well as taking in rescues and finding them their forever homes. Many life changes came in between then and now (divorce, moving, remarriage, moving again, starting a human family of my own) but one thing has remained constant, my love and respect for these sweet, inquisitive creatures.

Today we have a small breeding program that my husband and I share. We can not take in any rescues due to space restraints currently but we will certainly be happy to help you find someone who can and will.

Feel free to contact us with any questions or comments. We are always happy to help.
